Somali women entrepreneurs are pivotal to the nation's economic progress, showcasing resilience, creativity, and determination. However, limited access to practical training in essential business areas, such as costing, record keeping, and marketing, continues to constrain their growth. Addressing these challenges is crucial to empowering Somali women entrepreneurs to thrive in today's competitive market.
In response, Cowater International S.A., with funding from the European Union (EU), is organizing a one-day workshop exclusively for Somali Women in Business (SWIB). Scheduled for 27th January, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Palm Business Park, the workshop will focus on enhancing the participants' skills in costing, record keeping, and marketing. The interactive sessions will provide practical tools and insights to strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of women-led businesses.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to equipping Somali women entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable growth and foster economic inclusion.
